I'm new, and for one reason or another I'm having trouble finding an active forum. I sure need lots of advice, friendship and understanding. I'm not a fellow Canadian and hope that is not a problem. I've had RA since 1998 and have had many ups and downs. At first, I did not know anyone in my family had RA. Within the last year or so, I found out my maternal grandmother had it. Now my sister has RA and I'm trying to educate her, but she is having a lot of trouble accepting it. Along with RA (or related to), I've had so many other problems with my health. Sjogrens, Gastritis, Fibro, DDD, and others. Lots of surgeries. I was healthy up until '98, running 4 miles a day, active in church, 4th grade teacher. Since I left teaching in 2005, I've had 4 grandchildren, which are such a blessing. I just try to keep going and sometimes pretending all is well. Hope some of you will respond. I need you! ![]()
